(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not new to chickens, just ducklings. My grandparents raised chickens My whole childhood. We had a couple of geese when I was small.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
No chickens. Found 2 lost baby ducklings in my yard
(3) What breeds do you have?
Not quite sure.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The love! They can be amazing pets! Also fresh eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm a Mycologist (study mushrooms). I'm a reptile enthusiasts, I breed mealworms, I'm a mom. I love arts and crafts.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 children 11, 7, and 3. My oldest has pet chickens at his grandmother's. My youngest loves animals in general.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this site through Google. And in 20 minutes I learned more from this site than anywhere else! This site literally saved my ducklings from dying. I found them soaking wet in my yard, almost dead. They weren't making noise of anything. And in 20 minutes they were chirping and fluffy and look like they will actually make it!
