Hi,
I am new to blogging, but here goes............
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We've had 8-10 chickens before, but bought a farm last year and have our first "big" flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 24 chicks and 10 guinea keets
(3) What breeds do you have? Dominiques chicks (called Domineckers here in the South
)
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? google search
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? hearth cooking as a living history docent, spinning
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Just retired to farm. Certainly NO shortage of work and new things to learn. Raised and processed our first meat chickens, and lived to tell about it!
Have guineas for the first time and love their antics (and sounds). Look forward to learning lots on this forum. Thank you all for your willingness to share!
