Hello, my husband and I

just started raising chickens. Just thought id say hi. And I wanted to know if my chicken looks like it's going to be a rooster.

you could post photos on "what gender or breed is this," stating the age makes a difference also

Thanks. Thought it was a hen innitially as well. But then noticed she/he challengeing my dog through the fence and remembered the first rooster I had did that too. Got her for free from someone so was unsure of her age , we got two welsummers and a auracana with her as well and she's the only one who has gotten her comb. All the chickens are the same size tho .thinking she's a road island red for sure . She's really sweet and friendly . Friendliest chicken I've had yet. I have some little bantams too and they're reall friendly. Also have 5 jumbo brown quail in a different enclosure. We built an awesome walk in enclosure for the chickens . They're so much fun and my kids just love it. Thanks for everyone's help
