New chicken farmer. I decided to get laying hens - got the sheep, dog, cats, and garden - why not! Ordered 16 mixed layers. Never knew there was so much to know about raising chicks! Watched multiple blogs and u-tube channels.
Not sure what breed of chicks I received. I am finding them to be fascinating. Some are friendlier than others. A couple just jump right up on my hand when I feed them!
Unfortunately I have a chick that has a leg problem. I have been searching for answers and discovered this site. I will post that to the appropriate discussion. It looks like I will be hanging out here to get great information!

Welcome to the wonderful world of raising chickens! It's easy to get mesmerized by their antics and immersed in their care. It's an amazing feeling the first time a chicken decides to trust you enough to jump onto your hand!

Hope you are able to get things squared away with your chicken's leg. It's good to meet you; keep us posted on her progress.
