Yes, my order sheet says he was 19 weeks when I ordered them.

Just wanted to post an update. I now have 3 hens laying. One hen that was laying outside was a hard one to break. It was like she purposely waited to get out to lay on the ground while one of the other hens automatically started using the nesting box, and nesting down even before she was laying officially. Now they are all laying in the same box, but finally using them. Still waiting on the other 3 hens to lay, but I know they'll come. My least mature chicken is a funny girl. Of all of them she wants to hang out with me, tries to get out of the coop to follow me, always lets me pick her up and never runs from me...lol

Guess I just needed patience. Thanks for all the valuable input BYC gang!

My hen at the bottom of the pecking order always hides in the nesting box every night. As long as they lay eggs in the nesting boxes and you clean them regularly, I don't think it matters where they sleep, in my opinion.
