Newbe from Northern Illinois, I have peacocks, 2 males and 1 female. She just laid an egg. They were born in August 2022. I know i need another female

There is a Peafowl forum here for Peafowl discussion and a Stickies index with all kinds of answers to peafowl questions and is a great place to research. Since your birds are considered as two-year-olds and are almost mature they will produce a few eggs, maybe six to ten, this year. Next year they will produce many more. If your birds are free ranging the cocks may spar some but will not injure each other as they can leave the area. If they are penned and you notice aggressive behavior you can let one of the cocks out to free range. Since they were raised together they may not fight at all, just be prepared in case they do.
