i'm not sure if his leg's broken or maybe just dislocated or something but my mom thinks it's broken. He's a White Crested Black Polish that's 3 months old, He's the sweetest guy

. he still walks on his leg but limps and when he puts pressure on it to walk it sometime like around the knee kind of just bends out sideways from him and then comes back under him so i have no idea what it is. Sorry i can't explain it any better. could he have possibly hurt himself from jumping off of the roost and landing on it wrong? i have no idea when it happened my mom and me just realized it a few minutes ago when we were taking the feed out and filling it up. I was out there this morning when me and my dad were building the run and i didn't notice anything then but i have 18 other chickens i was looking at too so it could have been like that but i don't know.

Thanks, !Shkittles!

If he can use it some and get around just leave it alone. It should heal up OK. Make sure he can get food and water and that the other chickens are not pecking on him.

Well since i have no idea what's wrong with him my dad called our local Veterinary Clinic who treats all kinds of animals and they said that they could look at him and if it's broken or sprained they could probably help. My dad works in the afternoons and my mom doesn't get home till 5:30 so they said that if me and mom call when she gets home then we could bring him over (but only if my mom wants to otherwise me and my dad will have to tomorrow). Also the Vet Clinic said that they like to help people with their 4-H projects. I hope he heals cause then i could maybe take him to the fair. (Not a market project, He's a Polish)
