Heya! my names Liam and im a student from Australia, i am extremely new to chickens. I just got back from 4 months in Spain and whilst I was there I stayed with a family who had all kinds of chooks.. needless to say i got hooked!
The minute I got back to Australia I started construction on a coup and bought three four-week old barter blacks (australorp - rhode island cross).
its only been about four or five weeks since but the chooks are doing great, I still cant believe how much they eat!
their names are Princess Layer, Cindy and Nervous Nelly.
Only one problem though... My friends and family think i'm nuts because all I do is talk about chooks!
