Hey!
Yet another newbie awkward introduction so bear with me lol
I live in Ireland, and have had my own flock of hens for eight years, which is half of my life, but I guess that would be more impressive if I was older haha
I've a small flock of ten hens, but I hope to bring that up a bit when they are relocated to a new shed in a few weeks! Can't wait
Im here to learn more, because I think Im definitely old enough that Im responsible for my own flock, and I want to look after them after all :)
You'll most likely find me lurking around the place ;)

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. My wife and I visited Ireland for our 37th wedding anniversary. We love your beautiful countryside. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What kind of chooks do you have?
Cheers.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

This is the place to lurk and learn! Definitely stop by our learning center. Kelsie has left you with the link.

Make yourself at home here and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Welcome to our flock!

Welcome to BYC. My brother and son visited Ireland several years ago - they loved it. My son even climbed all the steps up so he could kiss the Blarney Stone. He put together a very nice video of impressive scenery and people and added music from an Irish music CD.
I stayed home but, got to enjoy Ireland that way. So I think it was beautiful too.

You might want to explore the " Raising Backyard Chickens " forum which pretty much takes you from baby chicks through adults - egg laying, chicken behaviors etc.
