I am a newbie at hatching and sooo excited. I built my own incubator and it has done wonderfully! The temp and humidity have stayed right on the mark. Last night at 10:00 pm was 21 days and low and behold the first chick pipped just on time. When i woke up this morning two more have pipped and the first one is making progress on a bigger hole. I can also hear the first one chirping! This is soooo eggciting!!! HA HA! I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will all be ok! I have one from from a dark brahma and the other three are barred rocks.
