So, this is my first time hatching and I'm having trouble with making decisions/worrying after candling my Day 14 eggs. I ordered 16 eggs of 8 different breeds. The breeds include Easter Eggers, Welsummers, Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, Golden Campines, Speckled Sussex, Barred Plymouth Rocks, and Dominques.
I have struggled with the EE and Welsummers the entire time, but I'm wondering are any of the other breeds I listed hard to see when candling or is it just my lack of knowledge? I'm struggling with 4-5 other eggs. What I think are the Golden Campines are super easy to see and are doing great; so many visible veins and soooo much movement!!!
I guess my other question is at what point does it begin to smell if it's a bad egg? None have an odor so I haven't discarded any at this point. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated : )
