I wish I can say that my chickens are healthy.

This afternoon my hen Basil suddenly having weak left leg,...so time spend reading about what/why/how..etc...then worry and fear about marek and botulism illnesses....

So far her left leg is weaken and collapses,but she picks herself up and continue.

I wish and wish I can say that all is well with my chickens.

Oh no! I really hope she has just injured her leg. Can you put her in a crate for a couple days incase it’s an injury? Gosh these chooks give us grey hair.

Yes, she is in a dog travel box and she hates to be isolated tonight. Tomorrow I will let her a small area in the garden so she can rest and see her flock at the same time. ...yes...I hate this part of keeping chickens the most...the guessing what illness, then the treatment, then ....to euthanize or not ...

Now if she has marek..then the rest of the flock?

87 is 4.69/gal here. 91 oct is 5.39 this morning, and diesel at 5.59.

The difference is most likely the state fuel taxes. We have far lower fuel taxes than California which is one of the highest.

I screwed up and didn't fill my diesel cans a couple of months ago when diesel was down to $2.799 per gallon.

The difference is most likely the state fuel taxes. We have far lower fuel taxes than California which is one of the highest.

Yeah. We double dip on taxes because our gas comes out of CA. So we pay their tax, plus our own taxes in Maricopa County (phx) for clean air stuff. It's lovely. 30 cents a gallon cheaper every other place in the state at least except Tucson (same air pollution taxes)
