Hi Everyone!

Brand new to chickens. Got 5 chicks over Easter and I am OVER the moon about them.

We have a Buff Orpington (named Georgie), Lavender Orpington (Lavender Brown), Easter Egger (Camilla), Silver Laced Wyandotte (Phantom), and Golden Sexlink (Lady Cluck). We also have 2 indoor cats that were born as barn cats. So far, they have been AWESOME around the chicks!

My husband, @Hamstermann, and I are excited about being more self-sufficient, self-reliant, and growing our own food. He loves to garden and make our home beautiful and I enjoy his hard work.

I love reading romantic mysteries, being with our 5 kids, playing games, making soap and bath bombs, learning, and helping others.

Welcome my brother, SIL, and hubby have been parents to 14, yesterday they turned 9 weeks old. We had them about 8 weeks. When we first got them they were in our garage and I would check on them every 3 hours I swear checking temp, food, and water. We moved them into their coop and I almost started crying. They are a joy and keep me busy. I take care of them while everyone is at work and my brother and his wife open coop and put them to bed.
