Well, we built a coop from scratch, bought feed, three New Hampshire Reds, and turned them loose. They seem fine and hardy! Looking forward to more in the future. Raised on a horse farm that had chickens but I don't remember all the details. Let me know if I'm missing something.
The others are correct. You will just want more. It took me a while. I started 3 years ago with 3 golden comets. Now I have 3 hens, 4 five week old Black sex links and 25 Easter Egg chicks on the way.
I usually try to keep around 10 - 12 hens. They are so fun.
Yeah, you have a BIG problem. Your coop is not nearly big enough to hold all your future chickens. You may laugh nervously at that, but trust me you'll be back on here asking us how to expand it soon enough.
