Hello, I have just joined and only just created my post in the introduction forum. I need help in identifying the breed of chicks. They are between 2-3 weeks old (due to hatching at different times). I think they are from a bantam breed due to having feathery legs...we do have an odd one. The only photo I have is my profile picture I can't seem to import photos any advice on how I do this...trying to get chicks sexed also.

Looking forward to seeing the photos - are you uploading direct from your device or using a third party host site like Photobucket, etc?
Feathered legs occur in both large fowl and bantam breeds - and there are clean legged bantams and large fowl breeds -- so feathered legs alone would not really indicate being bantam. Did you hatch the eggs or purchase the chicks once they hatched?

Hi, managed to delete my photos so will have to take some more!!! The chicks were a school project in my daughters class. Had them as eggs in incubator, right through to hatching then into plastic heated coop. I went nearly every night after school to see how they were and saw one hatch which was amazing!!! I then found out that the chicks would end up going to a hawk centre after two weeks..........hence why we now have 6 adorable chicks....and I am loving every minute!!!! Will take photos and attach them tomorrow.

This one is probably a Partridge cochin.
Do these two have feathered feet?

Might be a Light Sussex.

They all look like pullets for now, but they're too young to be sure.

Hello, thank you so much for your reply, in answer to your question they all have feathered feet apart from the one you thought may be a light Sussex. I have three of the brown ones. One is a lot smaller than the rest and he has a turned in foot but is eating and drinking fine and holds his own. He had to be helped to hatch out of his egg...we named him/her 'little Dude'. I have been reading up on sexing and from what I can make out I think the two grey ones are going to be male they have a waddle starting, ears are pink and one of them the comb is turning pink...is this right? I will post some more photos. Thank you so much bantam lover
