Hi there,
We've always wanted chickens and the local school had successfully incubated some eggs, so we volunteered to take 3 of them! That's was about 9 weeks ago and it's been an interesting time settling them in at home, protecting them our dog Wilf, and encouraging the kids to join in too.
Our coop is now built, but hubby just needs to complete the run, so they're temporarily in an old rabbit run in the day. It's a challenge trying to get them in the coop at night!
My main concern is keeping them healthy and not bored!
Hoping to learn new tricks on here!
Katie

:welcome You can learn a LOT here. We are so happy you found us. You probably won't have any problems with boredom unless they are locked up all day and aren't allowed to free range and as far as healthy. Fresh food, fresh water and lots of love! Any problems or you don't know if something is normal or not, just ask.

:frow Keeping chickens entertained is not difficult. They are so fun to watch as they investigate their new 'toy'.
