Newbie chicken owner

Hi all! I'm a new chicken owner, just got my firsts about a month and a half ago. I have 8 total- 5 golden comets and 3 easter eggers. They all have southern lady names (since we're in Tennessee): Beatrice, Josephine, Miss Mabel, Henrietta, Ida Mae, Blanche, Cricket, and Ethel. I LOVE them! I also have 2 horses, Doc and Matty, along with 2 dogs and 3 cats. We just moved to a 4 acre property and plan to start a little homestead. I have a wonderful red headed husband and a precious little red headed boy I look forward to all the helpful advice y'all have to provide on this site!
