Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Sorry for your loss.
Have you predator proofed the coop since the attack or just moved it?
Yes we moved it and are predator proofing it. I have reboarded the barn and dug down a foot around it and put boards down under to stop anything from digging under.putting larger rocks in the hole around it to help stop from digging under. In the run I am installing 1/2inch open chain link fence with a full roof from plywood and installing roof shingles

Welcome to BYC! There is so much to see, do, and learn here! :welcome Does this mean you now have two hens and a rooster? If so, that is probably not a very desirable ratio.
Agreed, which is one of the questions we had. We have 7 chicks in the brooder. The rooster and 2hens are in the chicken tractor we made. And the main coop is being redone now.. but once the coop is done. We were wondering how to introduce the new flock to the 3 we have? Should we have the new flock in the rebuilt coop. Then put the rooster and 2 hens in or have the rooster and 2 hens in the first then put the new flock in?
