Howdy.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to Chickens, I don't have any yet but I plan to get some Ex Battery ones in March due to it getting quite cold up here in winter. Aka, Partially featherless ex battery hens may not do well during winter, so its a safety and health procaution,
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None at the moment but I hope to get 3!
(3) What breeds do you have?
None yet but I think most exbattery hens are Rhode Island Reds?
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Looking for Chicken Keeping based forums on google.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Art, Reading, Playing with my cat, playing cards games, a lot of things.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live with my mom currently and one cat, who goes by several different names. I am a college student who hopes to add chicken keeping to her routine in life.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this place through google and it looks pretty neat. I may have spotted the link to this place once or twice but never really though about joining till now. I joined so I could make some fellow chicken keeping friends and get advice from seasoned chicken keepers.
