(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 3. They are all 4 year old Hens
(3) What breeds do you have? Plymouth Rock, Ancona, Buff Orpington
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The peacefulness of watching and interacting with them, having fresh eggs to eat.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Traveling with the top down on the convertible, wine adventures, fine dining
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Married for 25 years, 2 cats, Both of us are in the IT field and recently moved out to the country on 15 acres in Willamette Valley area of Oregon.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was doing a search on Google for " Why is my Buff Orpington's Feet Red?" Saw the article here and through some additional perusing of the site, realized this is a pretty informative place. Especially to a newbie who has wanted chickens her whole life, read at least 6 books on the matter and still finding she needs to learn more. Excited to bookmark and return to the page again and again. Thanks for the community.
