Hi there everyone...long time stalker to the forum, first time poster on our new babies....

I am hoping someone can help me to determine what breeds of ducks I have "rescued" from TSC about 3 weeks ago (P.S. I am no longer allowed to go there alone...our 20 babies showed up over a span of four trips...oops, lol)

These are pics of my babies getting a "bath", please don't look at the water, messy isn't even the right word for these little fluffers when their butts hit the water....ugh, or straw lol

bath2.jpg I think I have 4 khaki campbell and 2 pekin here

bath1.jpg Are these also Pekins?? the black spot confuses me

badboy.jpg Mallards?? 3 are black and 1 brown...all with yellow strips and dots

Thank you for taking time to help me :)

I'd like to see them next to the others for size comp, but they actually look like they might mallards to me. They only have spots under their eyes instead of proper stripes.

The "black-spot pekins" are probably silver appleyards..

If I could safely put the "mallards" next to the others I would get you a pic, but they are about a week younger than the others and unfortunately, the "older" ducklings haven't been accepting of them (they all peck at them) so We have had to brood them separate :( The khakis seem to be growing faster than the rest and are the noisiest and one in particular thinks he/she is the ruler. All the yellow ducks are docile and want to be lapducks, but still don't like the "mallards"

The four dark ones are Khaki Campbells as you suspected, or possibly chocolate runners, it’s very hard to tell from those pictures. The two pure yellow ones could be white layers or Pekins, possibly one of each, it will be easier to tell when they are older. I’d say the ones with black spots are Muscovies. The last ones could very likely be mallards. Could you get pictures with better lighting? Beautiful ducklings.
