Newbie duck owner

I have a pair of ducks, not sure on breed but they are 7 to 9 months old, not really sure but momma laid 4 eggs and I have yet to see her sit on them. Should I leave them alone or toss the eggs out. She's laid an egg a day for the last 4 days until today. No new eggs today.

If the eggs are in good condition, and have not been sitting in mud or water, I would collect them for eating. I always do the float test, but I collect eggs daily and eat them (or give them to others for eating).

Domestic ducks don't always feel like going broody. She may not have the tendency. Also, if she's just starting to lay, I have read that those are not necessarily the best eggs to incubate, anyway.
