(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes and No...I grew up on a small farm, but when I married a "city boy" I kind of got away from it all.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 4
(3) What breeds do you have? 2 Barred Rock and 2 Buff Orpingtons

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Making Homemade, all natural, vegan friendly soap
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have been marries for 17 years, we have a 13 yr old son, I am a school teacher, we have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I love to make homemade soap (the old fashion kind) and work in my garden. If I could talk DH into moving, I would LOVE to have about 10 acres to have my own little farm like when I was growing up.
