Hi everyone! I'm from Yakima, Washington. My husband and I put together our first coop this weekend. And we now have our first seven chicks at home in a brooder. Excited to start my mini suburb farm![IMG]

Greetings from Kansas, trout14v, and [IMG]! Great to have you in our community! That's a fine coop - you folks have some building skills! If you are new to the world of chickens you might like to check out the many interesting articles in the Learning Center here:
And if you'd like to chat with some in-state poultry locals, find the WA thread in this link:
Best wishes to you and your flock and thanks for joining BYC! [IMG]

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
