Newbie from GA.

I found this site to be so helpful and full of info. I thought I would join, and everyone seems soooo nice too!

I just got started raising chicks, they are 5 wks old.
5 RIR, 1 Braham, and 5 Araucanas(10 hens & 1 roo).
Cant' wait till they start laying.

I'm a stay at home Mom so I will probably be on here the most in the morn. when kids are at school.

Hi, I too am a newbie! I'm in Byron (Middle) GA. I'm a stay-at-home homeschool mom to 4 wonderful kids, and 25 eight week old RIRs! We were just gonna get a dozen RIR to start out with, but had to order the 25 minimum. We love them so much I think we're gonna keep all of them - and now we're looking for some guineas!
