Newbie from Georgia

Hi all, I am new to this list, to Georgia, and recent returnee from overseas (Germany). I am just now getting my fowl empire going and as yet have only one and he is a duck. A very CRAZY duck. I am looking to start with a very few chickens soon. For right now I am on a quest to find a love interest for (or several) for the duck. He has issues with figuring out what species he is. He sits on my lap in the evening sharing food with the dog (bird dog no less). In his spare time he goes window to window looking for me throughout the house (Lake house with LOTS of windows). Anyway, I look forward to meeting many new friends and having others to lean on when necessary (and I'm sure it will be).
