newbie from georgia

I have afew more questions to ask!!!! I know I need a book for dummies, lol. My hens just began to pull their feathers out of their chest, what does this mean? And does anyone know what breed of a chicken that looks like a delaware, but has feathers on their feet? My aunt and I are stumped on that one as well!!! I know I have alot of questions but I do app. all the ideas and all the answers I have been getting already!!! You all are truley Loved!!!!!!!!
1 - Why you need a book? there are enough of us dummies around to ask. If we all wrote a book there would not be a tree left in this country. and all of them will have different answers to the same questions.. and they would all be right in their own scenario.
You'd go broke buying books.

2 - Feather picking -- she is about to go " broody " and wants to sit a nest and raise up some chicks.

3 - Fluffy feet can be many different things. :
Cochin
Silkie
Houdan
Langshan
Faverolle
Brahmas
Sultan
Belgian Bearded D'Uccles
( You will need to use Google Images to figure that out )

4 - We love aunts. especially ones that cook. Stop stumbling over chickens unless there is a cook stove there and can't figure out how you want them.

5 - First one ( answer ) from me though :-)

6 - and we just love to be loved.
Do back rubs come with all that love?

Maybe so.
but you may want to check the prices in the grocery store to see if you really want to sell a 5 dollar chicken and replace it with a 9 dollar chicken out of the grocery store.
Thats why I love Aunts LOL!!! and quail :-P
