Newbie from Idaho

Hello,

We've just acquired chickens from friends who moved and couldn't take their chickens along. We are learning as we go and am very appreciative of the support and info in this forum! We have 9 hens and a rooster. We are letting them free-range and supplementing with soy-free feed. I'm hoping to raise some cornish cross and maybe a few turkeys next year, as well, and expand our flock of layers.

I'm looking forward to being a member of this community.
