Hi! One month ago we bought six baby chicks and almost two weeks ago we got four adorable baby ducks!! I'm in love with the ducks for sure! I'm here to learn about both:)

! Pleased you joined our community! BYC is a great place to learn. My one bit advice is raise the chicks and ducklings in separate brooders - the ducks are very messy with their water & will wet the bedding of the chicks which isn't good for them. Make sure you visit the duck thread as well as the baby chicks thread. They are Q & A but reading the old threads yields valuable info! Your first stop should be the Learning Center - it will give you the knowledge you need to raise a happy & Healthy flock.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Our ducks are definitely seperated from the chickens. They are in a big plastic kiddie pool in the middle of our family room. They have tons of room with dry bedding and heat at one end of the pool and the food and water at the other end which is working out great because you are right they are VERY messy. But so cute!
