(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
1 rooster, 1 hen
(3) What breeds do you have?
Serama. In my incubator I have Silver Double Laced Barnevelder eggs and Old English Game Bantam eggs
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love watching them bee bop around the yard just doing their thing. They always put me in a good mood when they dust bathe, or when I throw snacks and they jog over to get it with their heads down low. That cracks me up EVERY time!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, making bonsai trees, hunting rocks, gemstones and arrowheads, antiques, bass fishing, feeding hummingbirds, playing guitar
Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I started researching and reading about chickens 2 years ago. After a while I realized most of the learning was coming from here and yall seem like nice folks, so here I am
