Hi All,
Brand new to this site, but have been a lurker for a long time.
In early May I purchased what I was told were 6 pullets from a local tractor store (you know the one). They were just tiny peeps when I got them, but now so far I have at least two roosters!
I have a Prairie Bluebell, two buff Orpingtons, an Ameraucana (sp?), a cream legbar (rooster) and an olive egger (rooster).
I love watching Chicken TV in the evenings and they are so great at interacting with me and hubby.
I also have a Great Pyrenees and she lays outside of the run and watches her babies. She won't let my other dogs come between her and the run. She's very sweet.
I have a problem though - the two roosters are fighting and need to pass one of the guys along to someone else.
Is there anyone who can help with this?
Thank you!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

If you got your chicks at a farm store, you don't have an Ameraucana. You have an Easter Egger.

Your best bet for rehoming one of the cockerels is to advertise him on your local CL or FB Poultry Groups. I've found that the prettier the picture of him (background included) the faster they are claimed.
Good luck!

Oh you want me to send one so I can explain it?
