Newbie from Massachusetts..already addicted

Hi Everyone! I am brand new to chickens! After months of research (most of it here) I settled on silkies as my first chickens. I have 7 eggs in my Brinsea mini due on the 18th of January. I have pasted below the dog house (46x39) I am modifying for their coop.

Wow....I'd better not let my chickens see this coop....they'd be jealous. Nice coop! I'm a newbie here too and even though I've raised day olds for a few years, I'm really looking forward to hatching my first chicks in a brinsea like yours. Good luck!

Thank you! I will keep you posted on the hatching. I would like to candle them but am nervous about taking them out so soon (day 4). I think I will wait til day 7

Good luck on your hatch. Beautiful 'starter coop' - start planning for the larger coop you will need to satisfy this addiction.
