Hello! I am a very new chicken farmer. I am the proud owner of two Gold Stars and two Rhode Island Red hens. I love them dearly and they must love me back because I get 4 eggs a day, every day from these wonderful girls. I saved my hens from a coworker's farm because her rooster was attacking these hens to the point where they were almost bald only 2 months after they had completed their molt! I found BYC a few days ago when I was researching a question I had. I decided to join and all of these lovely members answer my questions asap! I love it. I ordered more chickens for this spring because I am enjoying my four girls so much. I ordered Araucanas, Cuckoo Marans, Buff Orpingtons, Black Stars, Red Stars, and Golden Polish. I also ordered 14 Jumbo Cornish X Rocks for some meat. I am really enjoying this site!!!
