Newbie from Mississippi

Hi, my name is Meriem and I live in Tupelo, MS. I owned chickens many years ago and loved them. They were my pets with benefits! The kids and I enjoyed going out every day to gather eggs. My kids are grown and gone, now so thought I would get some chicks to raise. I found some Silkie and Frizzle chicks locally and they will be hatching in about 2 weeks. I have my brooder ready and I can't wait!

You know Tupelo is the birthplace of Elvis Presley! I was born in Topeka. I was an air force brat. That's how we ended up in Mississippi. Thanks all for the warm welcomes!
