:Hi everybody, I just got my 1st 3 chicks about 3 weeks ago. So they are about 3weeks old. They seem to be anxious to get out of their brooder as they are growing rapidly. We put them out in the coop today for a trial run. They loved it! As long as we put a light for warmth in the coop, they should be fine. Is that correct? Thanks for all the valuable information. Happy Easter!

! Great to have you with us! A lot depends on the temps of where you live. By 4-6 weeks, depending on breed, light for heat becomes unnecessary. Good luck to you!
