Newbie from New York

[Chicken Little-er]

Hi,
So happy to have found this forum - what a terrific resource!

I live in upstate NY and just got my first 7 chicks - 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Araucanas and a Light Brahma. So far so good! Now I'm scrambling to have a proper home in place when they are ready to leave the brooder -- probably a converted shed, as I'd like a walk-in. any and all suggestions welcome.
