Newbie from NY here!

Hello everyone!

My name is Tina, and I am from Dutchess County, NY. I have become obsessed with chickens! I find them to be hilarious little creatures. I love reading about them, and looking at pics. I am dying to have a couple of hens of my own, but sadly, I just found out that my town doesn't allow it. Can you believe that FIVE ACRES is required in order to have chickens?! I've been cruising this forum for a while, but I finally registered today. I'm hoping to find out how to get a variance, so that I can keep 2 little ladies in the yard.
