Hello Everyone!
I googled "chicken coops" and BYC came up. Glad it did, i have been having a great time reading and learning!
I've had chickens for several years now. My first 4 hens i had until they stopped laying, then gave them to a friend (couldn't bring myself the eat them), then got 4 new pullets this summer. Sadly I've lost 3 of them and the last one is in rehab after getting attacked by something. So, I got 5 new welsummer pullets today. I love chickens! They are so much fun! My hubby thinks I'm nuts, but that's ok. We are going to build them a proper coop and looking at all the coops here was fascinating.
Anyway, I am looking forward to coming here often! Thank you all for all the info that you share!
