Hi folks,

Hubby and I just bought our dream home in the middle of nowhere. We're definitely making chickens a part of our life here. Plenty to learn and build, but we're looking forward to it all. I spent a lot of time at my Uncle's farm growing up. He had tons of chickens, and I just loved them. So, I'll be around the forums... mostly listening for now as I don't have much to offer just yet.

We'll be starting with a half dozen varied laying hens. One for each member of the family, with one to spare. Wish us luck!
