Seems like a lot of good people on here! Lots of information! The family and I are new to raising chickens, but are excited about it. We have the coop built and will be getting pullets soon. ?? I have read that hens tend to lay more often with a rooster? True?

Thanks in advance for any help. (BTW: If you live in central Ms. and have some pullets or straight runs for sell; I'm interested!)

Hi and :welcome from Ohio. So glad you joined. You don't need a rooster unless you want fertile eggs. Rooster don't have an affect any egg laying only light does. :thumbsup
