Newbie from Sac Area

Hi all! I'm completely new to backyard farming. We finally live in a home (renting but still) that has room in the backyard for a garden, play set and more! Woohoo! I am turning into a "crunchy mama" and want only the best for my family. Thus, chickens and fresh eggs of our own! I am slowly luring husband into this plan (as he is the one that has all the construction skills!) and am also working on planning a veggie garden. Wish me luck!
