Newbie from South Carolina

Hello everyone I am a new Chicken owner from South Carolina. My husband and I live in the upstate of South Carolina. We have 3 beautiful daughters ranging in ages from 9 to 2. In addition to our children we have furry babies as well. We have 2 rescued dogs (Minnie) a mini datsun and (chico) chihuahua. Today we added to our furry babies by brining home 8 fuzzy little chicks (4 RIR, 4 Buff orpington) all pullets. We are thrilled to be starting our new adventure in raising chickens, and we look forward to getting to know our fellow chicken lovers here on BYC..

Hello everyone and thank you for the warm welcome.. Chicks are doing great so far..they are very lively and they are eating & drinking very well.. I find that its so much fun just watching them play around. They each seem to have their own little personality. I know this is going to be lots of fun and excitement watching them grow. I am so glad my hubby talked me into owning chickens
