Hey Trisha44! Howdy from a fellow Kansan!

I'm from the North Central part of the state! And you are right - brutally hot summer but we've turned the corner and I can't wait for fall! Sounds like a very interesting flock you have there! Best of luck with those egg layers. Mine are still in the brooder - a mix of EE's, black australorps, black and red stars, wheaten marans, anconas, Delawares, and buff orps!
