I live in south tx and raised around chickens all my life as a kid.had not even seen a chicken in the last 15 yrs.but started tryn to findsome bantams.well as I was heading homeI spotted a man selling chickenshe had several pairs of bantams. I bought a pair and texting my wife that I had a surprise. Well she was not too happy with the surprisebut I got to keep the chickens. I started off with a small coop just for the time being. The hen finally started laying 2 weeks ago but while I was at work we had a bad wind storm and eat coop and my sons trampoline blue to pieces
 
okay for phone is acting crazy today anyways me too got destroyed by the wind. Thankfully chickens were okay anyways got home and had a day off and decided to build a new new coop. It's a lot nicer the old one.5ft by 4ft.my wife who is it very handy with tools even help me build it. While we were building it she suggested maybe we should get a few more chickens. Lol I think I finally got her hooked.anyway just wanted to say hi to everybodyand check out the site.
