Newbie from the u.k

Hi my names lin and I live in the u.k. Last October I got 6 pol chickens ....and really love having them. We have had chickens before and had a disaster with red mites . We tried every thing to get rid of them but just couldn’t. So the chickens were re-homed . A few years have past and we are trying again with a complete new set up. The 6 new chickens join our family ....2 Shih tzu dogs ...3 tortoises and a aquarium with discus fish. Please wish me luck with chickens as I would be devastated if it went wrong again. thanks

Good luck with your new chickens for the future. I’m more than sure you will be able to get plenty of advice should you have problems with mite again. Mine is a constant battle with them in the summer!

What species of tortoise do you keep? I have a Marginated called Malcolm (Hoping he turns out Male!) who is 2.5 years old so I’m a relatively new keeper.
