Newbie from Western PA

Hi, All ~ I am new to chicken-keeping; have 26 month-old Tweens & struggling to get the coop finished. Love my girls & find visiting them before & after work and before their "bedtime" remarkably calming 6 Barred Plymouth Rocks, 5 Golden-Laced Wyandottes, 5 Welsummers, 5 Black Australorpes, & 5 Americaunas (probably Easter Eggers). So cute. Started this new hobby as a way to vote against inhumane factory farms & to have healthier eggs. Anyone else in the Western PA area?
