Hello all, came across this site searching for more info on chickens. My kids and i recently aquired 6 young chickens from a neghibor ( the kids heard they were to end up as the neghibor's dinner) .. we are learning as we go...So far so good. I think.. We constructed a 4x8 house for them and a 12 x 10 outdoor enclosure and are in the process of getting a larger fenced area up for them to roam outside of the enclosed area. I think this is adequate for the 6 we now have..

Looking forward to learning more from the site.
