Newbie hatcher!! Bad eggs

I didn't read the whole thread yet, but stop cracking eggs. One of these times you're going to crack a live egg and kill it. Never ever remove any eggs until day 14. You shouldn't be candling until they reach day 7 anyway. If you're very experienced with candling you can candle earlier, but it sounds like you're not experienced yet. Leave them all in, and post pics at 14 days. I actually ask sellers not to mark "fragile" or "hatching eggs" on my packages because apparently that makes PO workers want to destroy and smash them. All of my unmarked shipped eggs have been intact, and I had very good hatch rates on them. The marked ones are always terribly scrambled. I'll read through the rest of your thread. At least 2 of your eggs look alive from the pics.

The alive ones are definitely in there it's the ones I cant find signs of life that I took out. Not that I'm going around cracking all eggs. Lol. The ones that I did take out at first were completely scrambled. So now I'm afraid my hatch rate will be low. Any that look as if there are life or I'm not aware of. I'm leaving alone.

I'm also hoping those eggs with the dark side in them are alive. And not dead already. We will see. I will definitely let you guys know how my hatch goes.

Oh and last egg I opened would've died if there was a chick in it. Since the air pocket was completely on the side. And I wouldn't know how to save it if I could. But it's ok. Some crazy way I happened to pull all bad eggs.

I literally just had one of those hatch under my broody! The air cell was completely on the side. I would've left it honestly...

Definitely leave everything, even if they look dead. Nothing is going to explode. It's VERY rare that eggs explode. If you have no sense of smell and are blind, then maybe. You'll smell it long before it explodes.

Thanks. That's good to know. I just watched a lot of videos saying get rid of bad eggs. They will explode and kill your other eggs. Thank you for the info.

Ok. So question... when lock down comes and I notice a jiggly air sac and chick inside what do I do? How do I place the egg? A just in case question. And another question. Day 14 is a safer day to toss dead eggs? Before that i shouldnt touch them?
