Newbie hatching cayuga duck eggs

hes just a mess of the hole is this normal ?
No
He is stuck and can’t zip. I just went and checked the video. You can make a zip line around the egg. Do it slowly to look for veins
I’m certain there shouldn’t be any as he is trying to get out but just to be sure still go slow
Pull the Capp off and he should pop out himself
But be careful he doesn’t push out while you are holding the egg and end up on the floor
I have had one make a big hole and need help as well. He will be fine

Thank you so much where should I do it just on a table?

I would start where the original pip was and ho around the egg in a circle
We need his head to break free so he can push out
Thank you
How is baby 2 doing ?
So the second ones out and walking around in the incubator I had to take the other one out as he was trampling on the newly hatched and eating parts of his egg 🥚 bit he was out unassisted he seems like he wants to eat already as he pecks my hand should I wait the full 24hrs

I don’t wait. I provide feed and water as soon as I put them in the brooder
I show them a few times and some will try a little and others will wait but it’s there if they need it
The second baby can come out of the bator once it’s up moving around
I don’t wait till they are fully dry usually4-6 hours as the humidity in the bator doesn’t let them fully dry
I just make sure they can walk so they can go to heat and water
Congrats on the babies :)
