Hello all. I have been cruising the forums for some time and finally decided to make an account.
I am currently raising my 2nd set of Backyard Chicks!
We formerly had 3 RIRs and 3 Black Star (sex-Link) that served us very well.
Late this summer I was given 8 chicks by a friend. He did not realize the commitment that raising chicks would be. So another friend wanted older girls to supplement their flock, and now my old girls have a large run and my new ones are growing up.
I will get some more pics of my new mystery chickens soon, I think i have some Favorelles and some RIR or NHRs, possibly a leghorn, and an unknown.
